Does Laser hair Removal Hurt?

Does laser hair removal hurt? My friend had it done and she said it was painful.

Answer: Most IPL machines and lasers do hurt. The best way to describe the pain using IPL and some lasers is imagine someone taking a thick rubber band and stretching it back and popping your skin with it.

It stings pretty badly in sensitive areas BUT it's not that terribly painful or no one would do it...

I used the Yag Laser on my chest and the pain was bearable. I only had two sessions then never went back again.

I do like the idea of no pain even though I am a bloke.
