Does Soprano Laser Hair Removal Work on Fine Cheek Hair?

Hello Manroop
I'm female, 29yrs of Indian origin. My concern is having laser hair removal on my cheeks. The hairs are dark and relatively fine. I want my chin, upper lip and side burns done and thought I might as well do all my face, but I'm apprehensive about shaving my cheeks hairs for the treatment and maybe making it worse in the long run/or the laser won't have any affect...is that possible?
Thanks
PK
Answer If your hairs are very fine, no matter which laser you use it will not fully be able to detect the pigment colour in the hair. From my experience fine hairs tend to take longer to treat so you will require more than 12 sessions and will require regular top ups.
If your hairs are very fine and fluffy my personal advice is that there is no point getting laser done because you are not going to see much reduction, probably around 10 to 20% or even probably less than that.
I’ve had personal experience from seeing clients having laser that it actually stimulate more hair growth so it could make the fine hairs thicker. My advice is not to have laser for fine hairs.
Come in and see one of the therapist and they will be able to have a look at your hair growth and advise you fully.
The other option for fine hair removal is undergoing a course of
electrolysis hair removal
