Laser Facial Hair Removal The Perfect Way to Eliminate Those Unwanted Hairs!

Laser facial hair removal is fast, easy and much more comfortable than any other hair removal method currently available on the market and it definitely beats waxing, threading and electrolysis!.

Many of my female clients are so embarrassed by their facial hair that they will go to painstaking lengths to conceal it.

Some of my clients have even visited my clinic with scars on their face formed by years of tweezing and pulling out the hair incorrectly.

I also treat many mature women who are going through menopause, PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and who are on the HRT drug. They come to see me because they seem to have grown a beard almost overnight.

Laser treatment will help to reduce and slow down hair growth. However, you will need to undergo additional treatments, as it will NOT completely solve the problem. The reason is the increase of testosterone that is responsible for the additional hair growth.

If you decide to have laser hair removal on the face, you will need to shave the area to be treated such as the chin or full face on the day of treatment.

Most women dread the thought of shaving their face as they believe the hair will grow back thicker and coarser.

This is just a myth! The hair will grow back exactly the same because all you are doing is trimming the hairs down; you are not removing them from the root.

Shaving is a standard procedure for all clients undergoing laser treatment. You must not thread, wax or tweeze the hairs as this will promote hair re-growth.

You will probably notice a marked reduction of hair after the third session, but it will depend on your type and volume of hair.

Regardless of your particular situation, you will require at least 10 to 12 sessions and regular top ups for successful laser facial hair removal results.

Also there is a higher risk of side effects with laser on your face and that is some clients will breakout in white or red spots similar to the pictures below, however these clear up in around 4 to 5 days.

And finally, if you have very fine fluffy type hair on your face we usually advise against laser as it could stimulate even more hair growth so we recommend to have electrolysis hair removal instead.
