I embarked on a change of career in 2005 and followed the path of lasers and aesthetics; several years later with experience in laser treatments for hair reduction using NdYag & Alexandrite laser also IPL/AFT; Tattoo removal using Ruby, NdYag and KTP lasers; Facial and leg veins; Acne; Skin Rejuvenation and Accent Radio Frequency.

I am a member of the Royal College of Nursing, British Medical Laser Association and professionally regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Newmarket Laser Clinic is an independent laser clinic situated in a beautiful late Victorian building with period features including an ornate carved staircase leading to our reception and treatment suite. The clinic prides itself on its comfortable, relaxed, private and friendly atmosphere with emphasis on discretion, confidentiality and the highest standard of care. We know from experience the complexity involved in finding a reputable professional laser clinic and since government deregulation on 1st October 2010, this has become more of a concern. As only some laser treatments remain regulated by the Care Quality Commission, this has added to the confusion.

Whilst costs are clearly very important we feel that other factors are equally so. When looking for treatment you should not be afraid to ask questions; you may also want to consider;

• Would you feel comfortable with that person treating you?
• Did they understand your concerns and answer all your questions fully?
• Were possible risks and potential side effects clearly explained to you?
• Was the consultation rushed?
• Were you pressured into having treatment?
• What standard of equipment did they offer?
• Would you recommend them to a friend or family member?


Nurses are very used to consulting and more importantly listening to concerns. At Newmarket Laser Clinic we offer free detailed consultations without pressure to proceed to treatment, unless you are happy to do so. Newmarket’s first dedicated laser clinic offers the gold standard in laser equipment (Alexandrite & NdYag); usually only available in London clinics. All treatments are carried out by an experienced Laser Nurse Practitioner in a safe, relaxed and professional environment.
