Is Laser Hair Removal
Really Permanent?

Laser hair removal is not 100% permanent. It will not get rid of every single hair. However the FDA have approved laser for permanent hair reduction.

As to date, there is no laser equipment that has been approved for permanent laser hair removal.

There are different stages for hair growth, and hairs must be in a active growth stage to be treated with a laser.

The laser’s light is not able to remove any hairs that are in a shedding or resting stage. This is the reason it does not get rid of every single hair.

Therefore, you may end up with some hair re-growth.

The good news is that this treatment method will enable you to remove up to 80/90% of unwanted hair. After having 6-12 sessions, any hair that does end up growing back is generally finer and lighter in colour.

Please remember the results depend on your skin and hair type. For finer hairs you may need more sessions. You will require follow-up sessions to treat hair re-growth, so be sure to follow the advice of your therapist.

After having a few session you will notice the growth slows down and most of my clients notice patches where the hair has not grown back.

Clients having their full legs, bikini, underarms will see much quicker hair reduction results after about 4 sessions. This is due to the hair being thicker.

Most of my clients who have their face done say laser hair removal is less painful than waxing, threading and electrolysis.
