Ultrasound Hair Removal

Hi,

Have heard Ultrasound (Applisonix) is the best method for hair removal treatment, and much cheaper than laser. Still quite new technology and cant find many places that do it in the UK

What do you think?

Answer Applisonix is actually more expensive then laser hair removal because of the slower treatment process. The treatments are time based for example 30 minutes on the applisonix costs £55 and a course of six sessions is £265. If you have an hour treatment then the cost is £50 and so on.

Also with a laser machine it cannot get rid of blonde, grey or fine hair whereas with the applisonix any colour hair can be treated using the ultrasound energy.

You'll find only a hand full of companies in the UK using the applisonix machine as its still a new technology. I do know it is very popular in Ireland, Spain and other European countries.
